We believe that God is the ultimate owner of everything (Psalm 24:1; Psalm 50:10) and has entrusted all of His resources to us. God has entrusted us with how we use our time, work, leisure, talents, money, the state of one’s soul and care for the environment.
Giving Paul challenges us to 4 principles of giving (2 Corinthians 8:10-15); (1) your willingness to give cheerfully is more important than the amount you give; (2) you should strive to fulfill your financial commitments; (3) if you give to others in need, they will, in turn, help you when you are in need; (4) you should give as a response to Christ, not for anything you can receive in return. How you give reflects your devotion to Christ.
Weekend Service Giving Glenn Park is pleased to provide you with a year-end giving statement for either tax filing purposes or for your own personal financial records. To enable us to provide this service, please ask for a set of personalized offering envelopes; use the pink envelopes placed in the pew racks; or use a check with accurate name and address. Then, place your gift in the offering plate as it is passed.
