What We Believe: · We are a non-denominational congregation. Our ministers and members accept Jesus Christ as the living Son of God, and the only savior of men. · We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and therefore our all sufficient rule of faith and practice. We preach Jesus’ divine birth, holy life, death for our sins, burial, resurrection, and the second coming. · For church membership we require just what was required in New Testament times: confession of and a turning away from sin, identification with Jesus in immersion, and a desire to live a life according to what He taught. · Our simple desire is to proclaim Christ, teach of Christ, and serve Christ. We would welcome your partnership with us in taking the Word of God to the world. · Proclaim… Teach… Serve… -Colossians 1:28-29 |

When you visit Glenn Park, the Care Ministry team will be there to help you. From visitor parking when you arrive, to greeting you at the door, to helping you find classes for your children, the nursery for your infants, or a class or worship service for your teen. And, OF COURSE helping you find the worship service or an adult class that you would like to attend. That is what we are here for.
If somehow, we miss you at the door, please visit us at the “Welcome Center” where we would love to have the opportunity to help you!
Our goal is to make you feel as welcome as possible on Sunday mornings. If you need help with anything, please let us know. All Care Ministry people will wear a name tag on Sundays to make it easier for you to identify us!
Once you have visited, you will probably be invited to a small group home fellowship that we call “Bible Study/Fellowship”. These are monthly fellowship groups that help you (the visitor) get to know names & faces of some of us! Please let us know if you would like the time & location of a Bible Study/Fellowship for this month!
Want to know more? Several times throughout the year, we offer a class called “What We’re About”. This class tells about how Glenn Park started, how to become a Christian, how to become a member, areas of service, etc. We try to gear the class to answer any questions you might have. This class is offered on about 4 Sunday mornings throughout the year. We also invite visitors to stay for lunch that same day and eat lunch with some of our leaders. Feel free to contact the Church Office to find out when the next class will be held. You can also call our Care Ministry Coordinator, Deb Shirkey with ANY questions you might have as a visitor. Her number is 316-644-4106.
If you are reading this as a current member of Glenn Park, not only is Care Ministry here for you too, but Care Ministry needs YOU! In Care Ministry we know that Our availability gives God the opportunity to perform miracles through us! You are a MIRACLE! Please prayerfully consider making yourself available for God to perform a miracle through YOU as a Care Team member. Typically being a team member only takes about 5 hours a month. Call Deb for more information on joining a team. |
