<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not good enough.&#8221; &#8220;I don&#8217;t have the talent or ability to that.&#8221; &#8220;I don&#8217;t have enough faith.&#8221; &#8220;God can&#8217;t use little old me&#8230; I&#8217;m not good enough!&#8221;</p>
<p>How many times have these and other statements like them crept into your mind?  God desires for His children to live to the fullness of their potential, and the powers of darkness would rather keep us wrapped up in self-doubt, complacency, and lack of faith.  The thing is, God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things all the time!  Join us as we walk through the Bible and look at the ordinary people God used in extraordinary ways.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Glenn Park Christian Church is excited to officially announce the addition of Chris Solwecki as our new Lead Minister!  Chris was interviewed, voted on, and hired back in March, and he and his family will be moving to Wichita in June.  We are thankful for God&#8217;s provision for our part of the body of Christ, and look forward to having Chris, Dedra, Kaitlyn, and A.J. here for a long time to come!</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Education</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Cincinnati Bible College</strong> - Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies - 1993</p>
<p><strong>Liberty Theological Seminary</strong> - Master of Divinity - 2009</p>
<p><strong>Liberty Theological Seminary</strong> &#8211; Working on Doctor of Ministry - 2010 to Present</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Past Ministry Experience</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Senior Minister</strong> - Fairview Christian Church, Foster, Kentucky &#8211; 1993-1994</p>
<p>Church grew from 50-80 in attendance.  Led worship, taught Sunday school, preached, led a Sunday evening Bible study.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Health &amp; Fitness Teacher/Recruiter</strong> - Pacific Christian College, Fullerton, California &#8211; 1994-1995</p>
<p>Recruited for 49 states, taught, &amp; wrote a manual for students traveling to camps under the school’s oversight.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Children’s Pastor</strong> - Fairfield Christian Church, Lancaster, Ohio &#8211; 1995-2000</p>
<p>Ministered to over 200 children ages K-6th grade, led over 75 adult volunteers.  Started anew ministry for “tweens” called SPAM (Students Praying and Ministering), and took the Children’s Church programinto production for a kids t.v. show.  Wrote a manual for ministering to Millennial kids.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Associate Minister</strong> - Westwood-Cheviot Church of Christ, Cincinnati, Ohio &#8211; 2000-2001</p>
<p>Developed a “Mercy Ministry”, and taught several classes for the Westwood Bible Institute along with professors from Cincinnati Bible College.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Minister of Worship and Creative Arts</strong> - Indian Creek Christian Church, Indianapolis, Indiana &#8211; 2001-2005</p>
<p>Led over 300 people in ministry as they led worship, created dramas and aesthetics for over 2,000 worshipers in 3 weekly services.  Also developed and maintained “The 12 Days of Christmas at the Creek”, which included a Christmas coffeehouse, an evening of prayer, Christmas Eve services, daily devotions for families throughout the month of December, a toy store, distribution of Thanksgiving baskets, and more.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Senior Minister</strong> - Pickerington Christian Church, Pickerington, Ohio &#8211; 2005 &#8211; 2012</p>
<p>The church has grown from an average weekly attendance of 70 to over 100 in the past few years.  Dedra has developed a strong Women’s Ministry program, and the church added an annual Christmas coffeehouse which is in its 5th year.  Built relationships with the Pickerington Community Theatre, which uses the church building for rehearsals and performances, as well as with the FLASH soccer club, Ohio Youth Flag Football Club, and the local parks and recreation department.  All of these groups currently use the church property for various events.</p>

<p>This class is designed with you in mind.  The focus is to answer your questions and help you learn about God&#8217;s great plan for you.  It is open to all ages, and families are encouraged to attend together.</p>
<p>Pick up a &#8220;yellow sheet&#8221; at the Welcome Center, or get in touch with the office and they will be happy to get one out to you!</p>
