At Glenn Park, we want you to know you are loved! Join us Saturday, February 18, 6:00-8:00pm in the multi-purpose room for an I Am Loved Dinner, and have a great time with food, fun, and fellowship together as the family of God.

Meal: Spaghetti in meat sauce, bread, salad, dessert, and drinks

Entertainment: ”Four the Cross” gospel quartet, featuring GPCC’s own Mark Hall and Richard Meier!

Cost: only $5.00 per person!

GROW – A series on Stewardship

We know what you’re probably thinking… “This is just about money!” Well, you’re right AND wrong. Stewardship is so much more than finances! This series will take you on a journey through what it truly means to be good stewards of all God has given us. It is our desire to equip you with the tools and knowledge to live an authentic life that practices proper stewardship of yourself, those around you, your time, your talent, and your treasure.

2/12/12 – GROW Overview – 1 Corinthians 4:1 - We are called to be servants of Christ Jesus, and good stewards of the mysteries of God.

2/19/12 – GROW together: Conflict Resolution – Romans 12:18 - We are called to live at peace with each other.

2/26/12 – GROW together: Meeting Needs – Acts 4:32-34 - We are called to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of others.

3/4/12 – GROW individually: Time – John 15:4-5 - We are called to use our time wisely, and to remain in God’s love.

3/11/12 – GROW individually: Talent – 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 - We are called to use the gifts given by the Holy Spirit to be producers rather than consumers.

3/18/12 – GROW individually: Treasure – Luke 6:38 - We are called to give financially, even when it hurts.

Hymnology

Hymnology is coming!

For those who love singing favorite hymns in a traditional hymn-sing setting, this for you! The Glenn Park Worship Arts Team invites you to join them on Wednesday, March 28th, at 6:30pm for “Hymnology – a celebration of musical tradition”.

This event is a time of singing and worshiping together in four part harmony with piano accompaniment, and the best part is that YOU get to pick the songs! Choose your three favorite hymns, write them down, put them in the hat, and the team will randomly pick them and sing them.

The last two Hymnology events had well over 100 people in attendance, so join with your church family and sing along!

Our spring session of Family Educational Study Time is upon us! Join us Wednesday, January 11th through Wednesday, March 14th as we gather together to study God’s Word and fellowship together.

Dinner is available at Boomer’s Diner from 5:15pm-6:15pm

Spring classes:

Birth through Pre-K: with Miss Becky and her volunteers on the main level.

Students grades K-5: with Children’s Ministry volunteers upstairs on the 2nd level.

Middle School & High School: studying Worship as a Lifestyle with Seth in the Multipurpose Room

Adults: studying Worship as a Lifestyle with Jeremy in the Worship Center
